This dynamic, flat 18-hole course is located in the broad spaces and bracing fresh air of the Shirakawa Hatoriko Highlands (950 meters above sea level). Golf carts languidly ply among fairways separated by stands of birch and larch. Golfers can enjoy their rounds from the budding green of spring to the brilliant foliage of autumn.

Early-starting through plays and afternoon games tee off from a base at the Shirakawa Hotel

The clubhouse and hotel adjacent to the golf course are nestled in a European-style building that exudes a calm, mature ambiance. At the resort, you can have a leisurely afternoon round and then check straight into the hotel. After enjoying a delicious meal and taking a dip in the hotel's large bath, wake up early the next day for some through-play. This style of play is quite popular among guests. The hotel features 27 rooms, with Japanese-style rooms on the second floor and Western-style rooms and a suite on the third. Enjoy a relaxing stay and round at this highland resort.

PICK UP HOLE 09
A straight par 4 with a broad fairway. Be mindful of the water hazard in front of the green's right side from the second shot. The green is bowl-shaped, so aim for the center for optimum results.
PICK UP HOLE 12
This par 3 hole offers a breathtaking view of Mt. Futamata beyond. The hole puts pressure on your tee shot, as there are both a water hazard and bunkers on the right of the green, and a cliff awaits if you miss to the left.
