COURSE INFORMATON

A playable and memorable course designed by career grand slammer Gary Player, only 30 minutes by Higashi-Kanto Expressway

Blessed with soil and topography supremely suited to a golf course and designed by Gary Player, who has won all four of the world's major golf championships, this course quickly became considered one of the most memorable in Japan. The holes make use of the level marshes and plains that curve perfectly among small natural groves. Player has said, “Lots of places seemed to be begging to be hole locations from the very start. There was practically no need to shave hills or move masses of earth. Just standing there, I could envision a hole and then lay out the plan. I had no idea such a wonderful location still existed in Japan.” 
The course consists of a tasteful succession of holes, including one surrounded by creeks and one with a sod-layered bunker with three-meter walls, which you won't find anywhere else in Japan. 

Just like the course, the Georgian-style clubhouse designed by Steve Chidester, an architectural designer from Pebble Beach, perfectly blends with the surrounding deep forests.

PICK UP HOLE 13
A challenging hole, with a pond extending from the teeing ground to the far left of the green. This is the first gateway to the Narita Course's famous “Amen Corner.” Bunkers are placed on both sides around the green, testing the accuracy and precision of the golfer's second shot.




PICK UP HOLE 18
A slightly snake-shaped par 5. With the out-of-bounds line lying to the right, slicers may struggle with their tee shots. The surface becomes slightly downhill from the second shot, making it essential to maintain accuracy as the pond continues to the left. With a bunker encroaching on the green, it appears as if two greens are combined together. This is a memorable hole that changes a golfer's impressions depending on the position of the pin.
